I am a physical therapist passionate about helping people improve their health. I began as a clinic PT, working with patients to help them overcome pain and injury. I transitioned to clinical research when I realized that not everyone was able to achieve their functional goals using the tools and techniques that were available through conventional physical therapy. This led me to the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where I worked with a team to develop a program that combined electrotactile stimulation of the cranial nerves via the tongue with physical therapy. We now refer to this as PoNS Therapy™.
It has been both a challenge and a joy to help this therapy translate to use in clinical settings. In the PoNS Therapy training program, you will learn how to successfully implement PoNS Therapy™ with your patients.
